Chromatic Strata explores the structural quiet of material under pressure.
Bands of pigment emerge through fractured surface, where mineral texture and saturated colour converge in vertical tension. The composition isolates the raw geometry of earth — neither landscape nor abstraction — but a measured section of matter held in suspension. Light moves across the surface as if revealing geological memory, exposing layers formed through compression, erosion, and time.
